e-proceedings:
We very much welcome your presentations published as e-proceedings by uploading to Zenodo, a CERN-developed platform for permanent storage of digital content. Zenodo privacy notice.
A Zenodo community is created for the NOT workshop proceedings, and instructions for how to upload follows below. It is only the final PDF in the case of a paper or poster that is uploaded. The SOC will review and accept the contributions under the NOT workshop 2022 Zenodo community.
The main advantages of Zenodo are:
- citable: Zenodo assigns DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) to all submissions
- archived: Zenodo will preserve the material permanently
- discoverable: we will ensure inclusion of the collection in the ADS Abstract Service
When the videos of the recorded talks are ready, they will be sent to each speaker. We suggest that a proceedings paper is written, but will leave it to each speaker to decide whether to alternatively upload the recorded talk or the slides only.
A proceedings paper template (the final PDF + latex source file and connected files used in this example) can be found in a tar file here: Latex files for download.

Please note that once you have granted your consent to include your presentation in the Zenodo collection by providing the required details, and after successful upload of your contribution, it will receive a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), will be indexed in the ADS Abstract Service, and shall remain available permanently. Therefore, please only upload final versions which are suitable for public distribution. In case you absolutely need to withdraw or replace your uploaded content, please contact us.
Please, upload your contribution by 30 September 2022.

Duration of talks :
- Invited Talks (25 minutes including questions)
- Contributed Talks (15 minutes including questions)
- Invited School Presentations (10 min including questions)
- Rapid Poster Talks (2 min)
Practical info to speakers:
When preparing your presentation keep in mind that the audience is distributed over a large range of different fields and topics.
You may use your own laptop to give the presentation if you wish. The projector has HDMI and VGA inputs (spare projector has DVI and VGI), and we have converters:
- DP, mDP and USB-C to HDMI
- HDMI to VGA (without sound)
- HDMI to DVI
Contact us for testing with the projector well before your talk.
Alternatively, you may wish to use the workshop laptop. In this case send us the PDF version of your presentation (we only support PDF) by June 5th to the email account workshop2022@not.iac.es
We recommend to send a copy of your presentation (in PDF format) to keep on the workshop laptop as a back-up.
For rapid poster talks only 1-2 slides in PDF format can be shown from the workshop laptop (to be submitted by email by June 5th).
The talks will be recorded - in the cases that permission is given by the speaker. The purpose is to make the talks available on our web pages after the workshop. The discussion sessions and the questions after each talk will not be recorded.
Posters:
Your printed poster can be of maximum size A1 if in landscape mode and A0 if in portrait mode.
You may put up your poster already during check-in, which is possible from 17:00 in the afternoon on June 6th. Each poster has an assigned id number which is marked on the poster stands.
Poster contributions can be presented as rapid talks (2 minutes) as well. You may show 1 or max 2 slides, to be sent to us in PDF format, and to be projected via the conference computer only.
